IKEA Components is looking for a Requirement & Design Engineer (RDE) to our great team of Engineers within retail equipment. The base in your work will be working with mechatronic solutions and lighting for IKEA stores.
As a Requirement & Design Engineer (RDE)
in the Mechatronic/Lighting area
you will be responsible for:
- Development of new features, technology and materials from concept to final products
- Conduct product testing, cyber security and risk assessment of products
- Take part of the sustainability agenda to meet and implement legal and country specific requirements
- Creating range plans for improvements and maintenance of the current range

, who are a senior designer with experience from development of combined hardware and software solutions (mechatronic solutions) as well as lighting area. You have good analytical skills and a pro-active and problem-solving approach. Experiences of FEA engineering and simulation. Good communication and university degree in engineering or equivalent qualification, preferably from Electronics/Digitalization.
