WHAT WE OFFER
- The Start Date of employment will be: March 2025
- Starting salary of £31,362 per annum, based on competence and experience.
- 39 Hours working 5 days per week including 2 weekends per month.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
- Experience of implementing long-term plans to have the right amount of people in place according to set budgets and goals.
- Have soft skills to interact and engage naturally with a wide audience, and develop virtual and other collaborative relationships to facilitate current and future objectives.
- Express ideas and opinions effectively both verbally and digitally.
- Possess an understanding about the rights and obligations of co-workers and employers.
- Takes action without needing direction from others - ability to work independently, take own initiatives and responsibility but also a team-player.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY
- Implement people planning strategy for the store, following principles/guidelines as localised by the Country P&C team.
- Ensuring adherence to IKEA employment standards, legal, and union requirements related to People Planning in the unit.
- Contribute to the store complete people planning process, from forecasting to posting schedules timely, ensuring scheduled hours match coworker, customer and business needs.
- Identify possible improvements in the unit people planning process and escalate any potential deviation to the Unit P&C manager when the scheduled or actual hours exceed the agreed financial framework.
- Ensure that the store people planning process supports developing our talents and enable them to deliver an excellent and personal customer meeting.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ensure vacancies are filled with the right contract type, to secure the right preconditions for the co-worker to create a great customer meeting.
- Ensure unit co-worker awareness and knowledge of the people planning process and their role in it through education, training and support.
