As Tribe Digital Platform, we are working on significant deliverables for the Rabobank of the future. Digital Platform is a crucial enabler to grow a better world together - relevant to all user journeys on Rabobank platforms. But at the same time, we must deal with complex requirements from users, internal teams, and external developments. We do this with more than 50 different squads divided over 5 different Area's. For two of our squads, we are looking for a scrum master.
You and your job
As a Scrum Master you love helping people and teams improve. Through your coaching you contribute to teams becoming high performing. You will help in making impediments visible and help resolving these. You can find the right balance between being hard and soft based on the context. You have experience with Agile frameworks but can adapt so it fits best with the situation at hand. Improvements not only lie in improving processes and rituals, but we also want to further improve the quality of our software, pipelines, and monitoring so it is nice if you have experience with that. Besides the work you do for your teams, you are also part of a team of Scrum Masters, who facilitate various activities/rituals for the area and tribe.
Top 3 responsibilities
- Guiding and coaching one or two squads to a high performing level and state of continuous improvement.
- Together you create high-value products using Agile/Scrum concepts and principles following the guidelines of the Rabobank framework (called S@S).
- Cooperate with other scrum masters in area and tribe to bring the whole to a higher level.
You and your talent
You are a pro-active team player who immediately sees what a team needs to accelerate. You support several teams by educating them and helping them improve the (software) development process. You are self-aware, you know your unique qualities and you know how to use them as effectively as possible.
Required knowledge and experience:
- You are an experienced certified (PSM1, PSM2) Scrum Master, at least 3 years;
- You have experience in guiding multicultural teams;
- You have experience coaching High Performing Teams;
- Well acquainted with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices;
- Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency;
- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, does conversation by focusing on scrum values of openness, honesty, and respect;
- You master the English and Dutch language;
- You have knowledge and experience as a developer, tester, or business analyst;
- Preferably you have worked in a financial environment.
