Company descriptionIKEA Industry Nantong belongs to IKEA Industry, production of foil on board furniture products. It is located in Nantong High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Jiangsu Province. It covers an area of around 140,000 square meters and has about 350 co-workers. IKEA Industry Nantong was established in 2012, and officially went into production in August 2013. It is the first highly automated furniture production demonstration company in China invested by IKEA Industry Group.
Since its opening, IKEA Industry Nantong has always been aiming to realize IKEA's vision and has committed to providing customers with home furnishing products with good quality and affordable prices. The company has created a high-quality, high-performing and competitive furniture manufactured factory with measures that increase efficiency and reduce costs by exploring new materials, investing in new technologies, Appling IKEA Production System (IPS) concept.
IKEA Industry Nantong has always been committed to the IKEA Strategy concept of sustainable development. To operate our business in a sustainable way, and to make our products from sustainable and renewable materials. We invested in the solar panel project under the support from IKEA Industry. It is the biggest sustainability project in Asia, After the project was completed, the annual power generation reached 8 GWh one year it could be covering 50% of the energy consumption, in addition to reducing the CO2 emission approximately 5100 Ton. Through Green Certificate procurement and FY25's Steam Energy Renewable Shift program, we will achieve 100% renewable energy. All wood raw materials and packaging materials in our factory are FSC certified to ensure that the wood comes from high-quality managed and sustainable forests, we are also committed to turning production waste into treasure, with a 90% recycling rate of non-wood material waste and zero landfill. Meanwhile, the factory has been taking action to protect water resources, biodiversity and community charities to fulfill its social responsibility.
In recent years, IKEA Industry Nantong has been awarded the title of "Top 100 Enterprises" for many years by Tongzhou District, Nantong City. In 2016, it was awarded "Smart Manufacturing Workshop of Jiangsu Province"; in 2019, it was awarded the advanced "Authorized Economic Operator (AEO)"; and in 2020, it was awarded the "Level 2 Safe Production Standardized Enterprise". Also be awarded for one of the best supply quality producers and best supplier within IKEA.
