What you'll be doing day to day

As an Internal Inventory Hauler, responsible for ensuring the availability of inventory for the Distribution / Customer Fulfillment Center, you will:
• Safely operate the yard truck to and from loading docks, connect and disconnect airlines, and stabilize loading units.
• Maintain radio and/or system contact with Flow & Traffic co-workers to receive or confirm loading unit movements.
• Adhere to supply chain security protocols in accordance with local and country regulatory requirements.
• Properly detect, correct, and report any loading unit damages.
• Perform yard inventory and safety audits.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is strong and embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous Internal Hauler or Class A CDL experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a yard truck with a high comfort level of backing and reverse.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift, sit, stand, and walk for length of shift.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
