The main assignment for Business unit Hospitality & Hotel, is to enable a great visit and stay that comes with a unique Älmhultish hospitality.
Job descriptionAt IKEA Älmhult AB we greet our guests in many of our facilities, such as: The restaurant at IKEA Museum, the Lobby restaurant at IKEA Hotell, Grillen, MUMS and Aktivitetshuset. We are now seeking someone who is passionate about creating a genuine and warm experience for our guests during breakfast, lunch and evening service. We believe that you can make a huge difference with your engagement and enthusiasm in meeting and exceed our guests' expectations.

our tasks will include:
- Taking orders during lunch, evening and weekends
- Taking orders at the counter, table service and presentation of menus and drinks
- Preparing and keeping our restaurants in shape for service both indoor and outdoor
- Serving of drinks and beverages
- Handling payments
We are looking for someone who loves to provide service and always meets our guests with a smile on their face! Preferably you have previous experience of working within the restaurant or service business. You thrive in a high pace environment with a lot of people around. You have the ability to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done. Furthermore, you have a curiosity for learning new things and enjoy finding solutions, including handling any issues that arise throughout the day. And of course you share our passion for IKEA's history, culture and values!
Requirements:
- You have a passion for food and fantastic guest experience.
- You are passionate about food and working in a team together with others, where you support each other to create the best visitor experience for your guests.
- Can speak and write both Swedish and English fluently, it's a plus if you master an additional language.
- You to be able to handle computers and IT-related applications.
- You are at least 18 years of age and have a valid Swedish working permit.
We now offer several fixed term seasonal positions for the summer period 1st of June till 31st of August. Our schedules follow our restaurants opening hours, where daytime, evening and weekend shifts are included to cover all our opening hours. Our opening hours span from 05:30 until 23:30. All our venues are located in Älmhult.
