Job descriptionAt IKEA Älmhult AB we greet our guests in many of our facilities, such as: The restaurant at IKEA Museum, the Lobby restaurant at IKEA Hotell, Grillen, MUMS and Aktivitetshuset. We are now seeking someone who is passionate about food and creating an exceptional dining experience for our guests during breakfast, lunch, and evening service. As a Food Production Co-worker, you will play an important role in preparing, cooking, and serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner for all our guests in various facilities.
Your tasks will include:
- Food preparation and mise en place
- Washing dishes
- Keeping the kitchen in pristine condition and set up for the next day
We are looking for individuals who want to be part of creating an exciting food experience with a focus on Småland. You love providing excellent service and enjoy working with your colleagues to meet the needs of your guests and customers every day. You thrive in a fast-paced environment where you encounter new challenges daily. You have the ability to take initiative and recognize what needs to be done. You possess a curiosity to continuously learn new things and always strive to find solutions, handling everyday problems effectively. Requirements:
- Educational background within food and food preparation
- Experience from working in a kitchen before either with cold or warm food
- Working in a team where you help each other to create the best possible experience for the guest is something you are passionate about.
- You to speak and write both Swedish and English fluently, it's a plus if you master an additional language. You are also comfortable working with computers.
- You must be over 18 years of age and hold a work permit making you eligible for work in Sweden.
We now offer several fixed term, seasonal positions for the summer period 1st of June till 31st of August. Our schedules follow our restaurants opening hours, where daytime, evening and weekend shifts are included to cover all our opening hours. All our venues are located in Älmhult.
