As Business Manager for the Area Global Sanctions FEC Tech within the Financial Economic Crime (FEC) domain, you are a sparring partner and trusted advisor to the Area Lead and the Area Leadership Team. As Business Manager in the 1LOR, you are a solid driving force behind our crucial Area-wide Simplify @ Scale rituals and the driver of our Area roadmap WoW. To achieve this, you interact with various stakeholders within FEC Tech, Global Sanctions, 2LOR (Compliance MV & FCC), other Areas, Tribes, and HR. Networking and collaboration are key ingredients for the successful execution of your role.
You and your job
You fight crime daily in our real-time 24/7 Global Sanctions Screening, Sanctions Workflow Management, and Sanctions List Management activities, ensuring we bank the right customers. You make an impact in this role for Sanctions, FEC, Rabobank, and our society. You have a broad view of the playing field of FEC as part of the Tribe FEC Tech. In your role as Business Manager, you make a difference by supporting and engaging with the Area Lead and the Leadership Team to maintain the right focus to achieve our (strategic) goals. You are the right hand of the Area Lead; as such, you will support him and be his sparring partner. You will coordinate the way of work of the FEC Tech Area and take the lead in topics such as monitoring, tracking, and coordinating the roadmap Sanctions FEC Tech, Staying In-Control budget/ MRM & RCF, Data Governance, Privacy, communication, engagement, and prioritization.
Your responsibilities
As the Business Manager FEC Tech, you:
- Act as a sparring partner and trusted advisor for the Area Lead and the Leadership Team.
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Deal with strategic topics on the agenda, bringing structure and oversight at the same time.
- Provide direction, coordination, management, and guidance to change initiatives within FEC Tech to transform Rabobank stronger towards business as usual.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting with high-quality standards.
- Take the lead in engagement and people happiness, coordinate leadership development and organizational change.
- Contribute to the FEC developments of tomorrow, with a major impact on the execution of various initiatives within our Area.
- Act as the spider in the web for the smooth operation of our Simplify @ Scale heartbeat within our tribe. You oversee what is going well in our agile working method and make adjustments where necessary. You guarantee coherence in goals and working methods.
- Engage in RCF and model finding management, Data Management, SLA & KPI management, as well as Privacy & Third Party Management initiatives.

You and your talent

- A completed Master's or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Preferably you have more than 3 years of relevant work experience within an S&S field of expertise.
- Experience with complex senior stakeholder management and high organizational sensitivity and integrity.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of our bank.
- Ability to work at a senior level and to report effectively to senior management.
- Take ownership of achieving results. You are flexible to switch quickly when necessary and you keep oversight of short and long-term objectives.
- A can-do attitude, eager, energetic, a fast learner, and have ambitions to grow and develop yourself further.
- You have a positive presence, with a touch of humor and a passion to drive change and execution.
- Knowledge of Rabobank standards, systems, and processes.
- Fluent in English and Dutch, verbal and written.
