Key Responsibilities:
You will join our ambitious Roaming Operations team, where you will work with various internal and external international colleagues. This role involves executing, managing, supporting, and optimizing inbound and outbound roaming services and connectivity, with a strong emphasis on IREG testing and analysis. You combine a proactive attitude with a solution-oriented approach. You have the drive to improve IREG testing process and know how to involve internal and external stakeholders in a constructive way. Together with your team and other departments, you ensure seamless global connectivity for all the roaming service over the 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.
- Collaborate with roaming partners, international carriers and IREG testing partners to expand the Odido roaming footprint
- Document technical processes, solutions, and configurations for future reference
- Secure roaming partner's test SIM cards and the SIM card inventory accordingly
- Configure network elements
- Test new services
- Commercial opening
- Validation if everything is working as expected
Overall purpose of position:
- Implement changes in Roaming service supporting NEs by administrate, analyze, plan, check, feedback test (rollback checks) and execute changes in line with change management process
- Implementing new roaming partners (NE configurations: USN, SGSN, MME, DRA, HSS, HLR, MSS, CNTDB, GTP Firewall)
- Executes different types of Roaming tests: Inbound/outbound IREG & TADIG validations (Roaming billing validation)
- Trouble shooting implementation issues (for example analyze traces, coordinate roaming issues with external roaming partners and internal support teams/departments
- Maintain contact with all national and international roaming partners
- Projects supports
- Knowledge share within GNOC (WIKI updates, documenting workarounds, working procedures)
- Reports/presents progress reports on above topics
- Monitor Roaming service IN/OUT performance
- Proactively detects performance trends
- Support E2E network service improvement task forces and projects
- Participate in various CS CORE and PS Core/IP oriented trials and projects
- Supports manager/team member in organizing, planning
- Cooperate with Customer on a Design/Tests/implementation DRP plans
- Available out of office hours on best effort base
- Provide 2nd line support for Roaming Incident/problem management process
- Technical trouble shooting/analyzes
- Coordinating incident/problem management over different involved parties (internal and external)

- Proven experience (3-5 years) in technical support for international roaming technologies, with a strong understanding of involved network elements.
- Understanding the 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G network protocols and architectures.
- Experience in VoLTE, LTE, and IoT roaming platforms and their technical requirements.
- Strong understanding of relevant industry standards and regulations, including GSMA IREG documents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and preferably Dutch as well)
