The ING Sector Research team is specifically geared towards providing economic research. Co-operation with other parts of ING Wholesale Bank and the Dutch Domestic Bank Netherlands is a key component in finding solutions for our client base. The Global Sector Research team in Amsterdam covers (inter)national sector analysis about specific themes for various sectors as retail, manufacturing, transport, sustainability and real estate.
Role Description
Provide direct support to (senior) economists colleagues in housing market analysis. In the second quarter of 2025, the results of the new edition of the national housing market survey will be published. Those results, which are structured in a large database, provide many in-depth insights about the housing situation of households. During the internship, we expect you to dive into that database to find new insights that contribute to ING's vision on the Dutch housing market.
Description of the Work Setting
Teamwork is a very important aspect of our day-to-day workflow. Our new colleague will need to be a good communicator with the ability to establish a good rapport with the team. Given the nature of our job, our new colleague will be constantly challenged to argue his/her actions. Next to this, our new colleague should be able to assume a certain level of responsibility when addressing operational deliverables.
