We are looking for a driven and experienced Personal Assistant for the Head of Procurement Netherlands (HOP). The role requires strong organisational and communication skills, discretion and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage priorities.

Procurement Netherlands within ING is headed by the Head of Procurement (HOP). The HOP is responsible for the procurement role in the Netherlands and reports into the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) Group and the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Netherlands. The objective is to maximize the business benefits ING gets from its suppliers and ensure the integrity of the supply chain, while operating efficiently and with sustainability at the heart of everything we do. Your responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive support to the HOP NL, including schedule management, organising meetings.
- Taking care of the administrative handling of new staff/transfers/leavers, expense management.
- Drafting correspondence and maintaining effective communication channels, including creating internal/external stakeholder communications.
- Assist in the execution of special projects, from research and planning to execution and follow-up.
- Plan and coordinate (corporate) events, managing logistics and liaising with internal/external stakeholders.
- Organise and maintain confidential files, documents and databases, ensuring accessibility and security.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, clients and colleagues, representing the HOP in a professional manner.
- Address and resolve issues effectively, exercising sound judgement and discretion in decision making.
- Provide ad hoc support as required for unforeseen tasks outside the normal scope.

Furthermore, you have:
- Current residency in the Netherlands and fluent in Dutch and English (written as well as spoken).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an personal assistant or in a similar role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex calendars, travel arrangements, and administrative tasks.
- Experience in project management, event planning, and stakeholder relationship management.
- Proficient use of strategic communication tools, including the preparation of presentations, reports and visuals.
- Familiarity with office software and productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office and project management software.
