Business analist

The Business Analyst within the Data and Enterprise Architecture (DEA) department is responsible for bridging the gap between organizational needs and the solutions provided by IT or other departments. This involves managing, evaluating, and improving business processes to ensure alignment with business objectives and technological capabilities. The DEA department consists of architects and business and data analysts who are responsible for the IT landscape and strategy.

As a key figure in the organization, you will bridge the gap between business needs and the solutions provided by IT or other departments, ensuring a seamless alignment between organizational objectives and technological capabilities. Your role will be pivotal in managing, evaluating, and refining business processes to maintain operational efficiency and strategic coherence. The combined data and architecture give the power to innovate in the near future, especially in the AI area, and you will play a crucial role in setting up the way-of-working to enable this innovation.

You will take responsibility for overseeing processes across the company, ensuring that both IT and business workflows operate without disruption. By identifying and addressing challenges within these processes, you will drive meaningful improvements, recommending enhancements and ensuring that changes are effectively implemented to support the organization's goals. • Collects, prioritizes and coordinates requirements / optimizations / changes in these processes in close co-ordination with both IT and business stakeholders.
• Collaborates with business units to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives.
• Translates business requirements into clear and actionable technical requirements.
• Engages with relevant outsourcing partners in the delivery of technology solutions aligned to business or process improvement requirements.

• Ability to identify and engage with stakeholders, understand requirements, and translate these into clear objectives for the technology team.
• Proficiency in different business analysis methodologies, with the ability to select the right combination of tools and techniques appropriate for the business challenge.
• Knowledge and experience in the IT domain, with familiarity in Agile ways of working being a plus.
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, achieve results, and demonstrate strong documentation skills.

Dit bieden wij

• A year's contract with a one-month probationary period in accordance with the Recreation Collective Labour Agreement, where we would of course like to eventually employ you on a permanent basis.
• A salary between €4,040 and €5,775 gross per month on a full-time basis excluding holiday allowance.
