The Product Lead is a position where all elements of a product come together with an end-to-end responsibility. You define how we manage the business value and how we deliver a differentiating customer experience. You do this by steering squads who work on the product by providing them with a strategic direction, by coaching them on the job, defining the product roadmap and by managing stakeholders around the product. Customer Journey Experts who work in the squads report hierarchically to you, which means it is your job to empower them to thrive and perform at their best. You set direction, you help them to develop their craftsmanship and you have continuous conversations about their career development.
As a Product Lead WERO, iDEAL and Payment request, you are responsible for the implementation and migration of EPI in the Netherlands, moving iDEAL and Payment request to WERO and for running the business at the same time. The scope is the issuing side of online payments, not acquiring. The migration is a joint effort of EPI and the other Dutch banks and thus requires strong stakeholder management. The delivery is done by different teams and it is therefore important that you have experience with working in a complex environment. The migration will take years and after the migration you are responsible to set the vision for run of the product, further growth and improvements. This is of large strategic importance for ING to make sure we remain relevant and have a competing offer compared to other payment methods.

The team is a new combination of existing squads. These squads will now be part of the same product since they are all moving to the same European future state.
