You and your job
The work you do will impact your team, your internal and external stakeholders, and ultimately the client servicing process, therefore the bank's core business.
You are a part of Portfolio Management Department, working specifically for Project RAROC (Risk Adjusted Return on Capital). You work closely with the Product Owner and help to set the right priorities. You will also be working in One!Lab, which is an enterprise-wide platform capability that supports data & analytics research and development. Here are the primary contact for your stakeholders, which are mostly consumers of the data in your system.
Top 5 Responsibilities
- Requirements gathering, data sourcing and monitoring the data quality
- Setting up a data analysis platform
- Supporting implementation of RAROC calculations
- Resolving impediments/issues
- Migrating data from legacy sources to the target state
Practical Examples
- You understand the requirements of business stakeholders and guide the (IT-) implementation of new initiatives and you will interact with the stakeholders and identify possible solutions to ensure that they have a clear and seamless way-of-working in the new environment
- You interact with the teams to identify the data needs both for as-is and the possible future analysis
- You ensure the timely and accurate data delivery for the teams with a clear process and a clear data lineage
- You identify the decommissioning of sources and searching for their substitutes and also substitute the legacy data sources with possible solutions
- You set up a new data analysis environment in One!Lab for pricing and portfolio management activities and set up the data export processes from One!Lab
- You assist the team to overcome technical and infrastructural issues in One!Lab and Azure Databricks
- You handle ad-hoc requests for technical setups, data source connections, or other impediment resolutions

You and your talent
- Preferably a Masters degree in Economics, Finance, Business Administration or a related (quantitative) field;
- You have 2+ years of relevant banking experience within the financial industries sector;
- You have strong analytical and conceptual skills (databases, data warehouses and SQL);
- You have knowledge of databases, data warehouses and SQL;
- You have strong communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
