Join our Asset & Liability Management (ALM) team as Product Owner and take care of delivering ALM insights and monthly IRR reports, together with your team. Your job- You initiate and implement key changes by leveraging your knowledge and aligning with ALM challenges.
- As a Product Owner of the IRR block, you maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to collaboratively set priorities, considering both Development and Operations. These priorities inform the work packages for the DevOps scrum teams, with whom you manage ongoing operations and changes.
- Responsibilities include implementing and operating risk models in our systems (particularly QRM), calculating risk scenarios, developing reporting solutions, and realizing data improvements.
- Alongside the other three Product Owners, the IT Lead, the Lead Business Developer, the Agile Coach, and the Grid Owner, you form a team responsible for coordinating within the ALM Grid regarding interdependencies, grid-wide priorities, and general matters.
- A key goal within the ALM Grid is to deliver future-proof solutions that are as simple as possible, robust, and manageable, while staying ahead of IT standards and technologies.
The ALM DevOps domain is part of the Finance DevOps Department, supporting the bank's Finance function. You will work in a diverse, dynamic, and international team that follows the scaled agile method and the DevOps way of working. The Grid comprises seven DevOps blocks organized primarily by risk type domain (Interest Rate Risk, Liquidity Risk, Funds Transfer Pricing). You will be responsible for the IRR block, which consists of two scrum teams, and you will be a part of the ALM Grid leadership.
Your main stakeholders include the ALM department, 2nd line ALM, ALM Risk Modeling, Risk Reporting, and Model Validation. Data source providers are also important stakeholders. Ultimately, the ALCO and other BRC committees are stakeholders as well, since the reports, insights, and analyses discussed in these committees are based on our input.
Your profile- HBO/University education.
- 3+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Owner or Project Manager in a banking/finance environment.
- 2+ years of experience in risk management, ALM, or finance.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Analytical, with the ability to understand complex matters.
- Proactive attitude, with a constructively challenging approach.
- Experience or ambition in leading others, with a desire to develop managerial and leadership skills further.
- Knowledge of Agile, DevOps, or portfolio management is a plus.
- Knowledge of data processing management is a plus.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
