International Card Services (ICS) is a 100% subsidiary of ABN AMRO Bank N.V. With its own independent bank license. ICS is a payment service provider and market leader in issuing credit cards in the Netherlands. We have been issuing, promoting, administrating, and processing payments of Visa and Mastercard credit cards for over 30 years. ICS issues credit cards both under its own brand and in conjunction with co-branding partners, for both Consumer and Commercial clients. In addition, we offer various other financial services and products.
As a reporting and balance sheet management analyst you play key role in monitoring ICS's liquidity position, recommending steering actions if necessary and preparing regulatory reports. You will be part of the Reporting and Balance Sheet Management Team and report to the Head of Reporting and Balance Sheet Management.
Your jobYou will work on balance sheet, liquidity and capital management as well as having a key role in the monthly ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) and the LCT (Liquidity Crisis Team). In addition, you will work on regulatory (reporting) topics (such as LCR, NSFR, FINREP, and COREP).
As a reporting and balance sheet management analyst, you will play a critical role in shaping ICS's balance sheet management and regulatory reporting landscape further.
To be able to achieve that, we want you to be able to:
1) Be responsible for push and pull (Driver seat) in the ALCO and LCT for topics, such as
- Balance sheet management
- ALCO performance review,
- Daily LCR and forecasting
- LCR steering actions,
- Funding strategy of ICS,
- Liquidity management: liquidity management policy, contingency funding Plan
- Capital management, policies and its Policy adherence from the Group,
- IRRBB (Interest rate in the Banking Book),
- Feedback loop process ALCO and LCT on a higher level
- Shape the yearly RAS (risk appetite statement for enterprise risk and Liquidity risk) and provide first line opinion.
- Expert in regulatory reporting and topics (LCR, NSFR, AMM, COREP, large exposures, Leverage ratio)
- You will advise senior management on regulatory liquidity and capital-related matters (Basel regulations and Capital Requirements Regulations) and understanding the capital and liquidity implications for ICS
- Act as one of the primary contacts to ABN reporting/risk type owners and external auditors.
2) Experience in translating regulations into data and process requirements and testing IT changes
3) Familiarity with implementing, monitoring, and improving control frameworks and ISAE reports.
4) Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools like Power BI is preferred

- Excellent communication skills (both in Dutch and English) to different audiences, including senior management, ALCO, ICS Risk management, ABN AMRO Bank (AAB) stakeholders such as AAB ALM, AAB LCRM, AAB Model validation, MAG (Model Acceptance Committee), Reporting, Policies, Group audit.
