We are looking for a Project Manager PtP to join the DHL eCommerce team.
How will you contribute to the success of DHL?As a Project Manager in the eCommerce organization, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring successful delivery within budget, timelines, and quality standards.
You will work independently within guidelines and policies of the eCommerce organization, to meet the needs and goals of your internal customer. You actively contribute to the continuous improvement of the Purchase to Pay process whereby your focus lies on the implementation of (new) systems for Purchase Order and Invoice Processing.
Additionally, you will manage other projects aimed at enhancing quality and driving efficiency. This includes aligning with Global organizational requirements, the government regulations and/or audits standards. In this role you will be working on processes, automation, new system implementations and developing and implementing initiatives to support operational excellence. You will assist with various approvals of requests regarding supplier data, managing approval matrix and audits. You report to the team manager Purchase to Pay.
Key Tasks:
- Manage the entire project lifecycle, from initiation to planning, execution and closure, ensuring that all phases are completed on time, withing budget and according to scope.
- Develop and manage project budgets, allocate resources and establish timelines for successful project delivery.
- Prepare well-founded business cases to secure necessary budget approvals.
- Create detailed project plans, ensuring effective communication and implementation to meet project objectives.
- Build and lead (cross functional) project teams, provide guidance and review deliverables.
- Prepare and execute GO-live
- Administer project management documentation; plan meetings, track milestones and conduct status reports
- Act as the point of contact for project stakeholders, proactively managing communications, addressing bottlenecks, and adjusting project plans based on feedback.
- Lead presentations at project meetings and steerco meetings.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and minimize delays in project delivery
- Oversee and carry out acceptance testing and collaborate with process analysts and business experts to implement process automations according to best practices.
- Manage transfer to the business so that project, including knowledge and skills, is correctly established. If necessary, prepare and conduct training.
- Contribute to the development of a strategic roadmap for the future evolution of the PtP process, incorporating continuous feedback from users and stakeholders.
- Performing audit checks, controls and monitoring on the day-to-day business within PtP to ensure adherence to PtP compliance
- Minimum Bachelor's degree (preferably Finance, IT or Business related).
- Minimum 3 -5 years of project management experience. With proven expertise in managing end-to-end project lifecycles.
- Solid knowledge of financial processes, particularly in Purchase to Pay processes.
- Project / Program management certification (e.g. PRINCE2).
- Able to translate customer's needs into (IT) solutions. You speak the language of both business and IT.
- Strong 'digital mindset' and experience with automated project management solutions.
- Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially MS Excel and Visio.
- Desirable: knowledge of financial systems, e.g. Oracle Cloud, Basware or SAP.
- Fluent in Dutch and excellent in English.
- Strong analytical skills with a cross-functional, solution-oriented approach.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Willingness to travel to Utrecht once a week and occasionally travel within the Benelux.
