About the role
We are seeking a hands-on, results-driven Business Analyst / Business Developer to join our Asset & Liability Management (ALM) Grid at ABN AMRO. Think of ALM as a bank within the bank, crucial for managing interest rate, liquidity and capital risks at the heart of our operations.
What You will doAs part of a dynamic team of engineers and business developers, you'll enhance ALM data processes and applications in an Agile and DevOps setting. Your insights and reports will aid stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, other business segments of the bank and supervisory authorities like the DNB and ECB. You will align with stakeholders such as the ALM department itself, 2nd line ALM, ALM Risk Modelling, Risk Reporting and Model Validation. You will also help align current solutions with out future Finance & Risk target architecture.

Who you are
We are looking for someone with a proactive and constructively critical attitude who is not afraid to tackle challenges head on. Besides a healthy knowledge/interest in complex and analytical matters (which characterizes ALM), you should possess the following skill-set:
- HBO / University education
- 2 - 5 years of work experience
- Strong communication skills in English
- Knowledge of banking products and/or ALM processes
- Knowledge of data processing management and ETL
- Experience with Excel, SQL, or similar tools
- An analytical mindset and a quick grasp of complex business flows
- A drive to improve self and the team
- Organizational sensitivity and adaptability
- Ownership and leadership to guide the development team
