Foundation4Tech (F4T) Oracle is responsible to make sure our the Oracle Database Services are in the best shape. The scope is a managed database platform (Exadata) with high availability and security for the demanding applications of the Rabobank in their critical business chains and providing related capabilities on database provisioning and maintenance.
F4T Oracle is organized in several agile teams that make sure our services are in the best shape both on-premise and in the cloud. This department develops, delivers and innovates towards a stable, high quality, secure and cost-efficient 24x7 managed database platform (Exadata) for Rabobank's global business.
You and your job
Your primary focus will be on providing mature and standardised services, ready for consumption by our DevOps squads. Make life easy with easy to use and accessible services. Innovate, automate and change where possible. Understand the balance between stability and the need for change and innovation. Together with the Tech Lead(s) you will enable and drive your squads, focus on implementing and maturing the DevOps/S@S way of working, build on- & offshore teams with the right mix of both technical- and soft skills. Create a culture of proactiveness, ownership and entrepreneurship.The Senior Tech Lead Oracle is ultimately responsible for the following:
- IT Strategy & Execution: Lead IT delivery and strategy for the Oracle area, developing a strong IT vision with the Oracle team.
- Service Development & Maintenance: Ensure high-quality service development, adhering to standards and policies, managing availability and continuity, and shaping the IT roadmap.
- Technology Leadership: Drive automation, innovation, and change, ensuring stability, security, and standardization.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote continuous improvement and an engineering culture, addressing IT challenges and sharing knowledge.
- Resource Management: Hire and allocate staff, manage the IT budget, and oversee internal suppliers and vendors.
- Talent Management: Lead the transition to high-performance teams, build capabilities, attract top talent, and foster a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Navigate politically sensitive environments and manage relationships with various stakeholders.
- Oracle Team Leadership: Strengthen the Oracle team, focusing on leadership development and maturing the DevOps way of working.
- Communication & Influence: Excel in communication and influencing skills to motivate and develop employees and drive behavioral change.

It is important to continuously interact with your environment to ensure that the right service is provided. Together with the Area Lead and the Business Architect, you ensure prioritization, roadmap delivery and the optimal contribution to Rabobank's goals. You are the main IT delivery expert within the area triangle. You are also a member of the MT of Foundation4Tech, in which you help shape and further develop the Foundation4Tech strategy. Foundation4Tech is part of the "Engineering & Enterprise Tech" division. An innovative division that focuses on innovation and sustainable strengthening of Rabobank's IT capacity.You and your skills
- Intellectual ability and/or work experience on Bachelor/Master level
- Solid skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
- Seasoned professional experienced (10 years+) in IT competency area, in building, running & changing different IT areas
- Knowledge of / experience with service delivery of infrastructure platform services
- Knowledge of / experience with security services
- Knowledge of the latest customer/market developments, and high tech developments
- Offshore and nearshore development
- Influencing skills at the highest level, primarily concerned with managing a broad stakeholder management field, developing and motivating people and changing behavior
- Freedom to think within clearly defined standards & policies and objectives. The incumbent has a strategic impact by contributing to the IT roadmap for the domain, and for shaping the strategic vision and roadmap of the area.
