Hydrogen will likely play a crucial role in the energy transition. It can be conveniently made by alkaline water electrolysis from green electricity.
In this short research position you will perform lab-scale experiments on multiphase flow phenomena occurring in alkaline water electrolyser set-ups. Measurements on gas fraction, potentials, and possibly heat transport will improve understanding of the effect of multiphase flow on performance.
Job requirementsYou have an MSc in Mechanical Engineering or similar and have experience with multiphase flow experiments in alkaline water electrolysis. You are enthusiastic, communicate well in English, hands-on, and eager to contribute to the energy transition.
