Your jobIn this role, you will be responsible for monitoring newly issued regulatory reporting legislation, analysing new reporting requirements, transfer the knowledge internally and establishing group-wide regulatory reporting standards. These standards will also be integrated into the strategic new Finance and Risk reporting architecture.
- You closely monitor new regulations and guidelines on regulatory reporting, interpret and assess their impact on current reporting, (new) products and transactions, and set data management requirements.
- You will focus on FINREP, DGS, and data management (Finance & Risk Data Model) at the start, but will broaden your field of expertise quickly.
- You engage with a diverse range of stakeholders to build a strong organizational network, keeping them informed of new regulations and effectively communicating complex regulatory requirements.
- You will contribute to the development of a strategic new Finance and Risk reporting architecture and build on your solid understanding of international regulatory reporting developments.
As a colleague within the Policies & Internal Control department of Financial Accounting, you will join a dedicated group of skilled regulatory reporting policy specialists. Alongside our team, there are two other expert groups: IFRS Policies and Internal Control. Together, we foster a diverse, international environment that encourages open collaboration.
Our department is ABN AMRO's Center of Expertise for navigating new regulations in financial, regulatory, and sustainable finance reporting. We identify, interpret, and assess the impact of these regulations, translating them into clear reporting requirements and defining data attributes and standards. We ensure these attributes are communicated effectively across the organization and offer expert guidance on implementing regulations. By doing so, our team is at the forefront of shaping data governance and regulatory practices.
Your profile- You have around 3 years of relevant working experience.
- You have a Bachelor's or Master's Degree, preferably related to Economics, Finance, Accounting or Auditing.
- You have excellent English communication skills, allowing you to effectively convey complex matters to a wide audience of stakeholders.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- You have an interest in regulatory and external reporting.
- Pré: experience with regulatory reporting (prudential (FINREP. DGS) and/ or statistical) and the CRD / CRR frameworks.

- Salary grade could be Hay 9 or Hay 10, based on your skills and experience. The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week in Hay 10, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
