We are looking for a reliable, innovative Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As the Selva Restaurant Supervisor, you will oversee and support the operations of Selva to ensure productivity and an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your key contribution to the team and to the success of Selva is in managing a smooth day-to-day operation of the restaurant, delegating the teams into their positions on shift, briefing the team on the menus and changes, and addressing guest complaints and queries in a respectful manner.

Inspired by tropical and Latin American cuisine and co-created by nhow Amsterdam, Selva is an award-winning rooftop restaurant at the 24th floor of nhow Amsterdam RAI hotel, overlooking the city of Amsterdam. Together with your team, the culinary creations, complemented by the amazing views, you will create the nhow experiences that our guests are hoping for.
What are you going to do?
Running a smooth your shift on restaurant floor;
Ensuring everyone has all the information they need for the day;
Addressing any training needs that come up during your shift;
Proactively working on service sequence and look for improvements to operate more effectively;
Resolving guests' questions and complaints in a professional manner;
Adhering to the health and safety regulations during your shift;
Recording all income and expenses and ensuring that cash registers are balanced.

At least 1 year of experience leading a team in restaurant/ bar/ café;
Minimum 1 year experience at a concept-restaurant;

Pleasant, positive, and open attitude;
Very good command of English, Dutch is an advantage.
