A lot is happening in the world of energy and technology. With climate change knocking on our door, smart companies are teaming up to create greener solutions. One leading partnership is driving the energy transition by combining advanced tech and engineering expertise to keep power systems reliable and future-proof. Are you ready to be part of it?
Tell me more...
Producing green energy is one thing, but getting that power where it's needed is another challenge. Luckily, this company knows exactly how to handle it. They develop intelligent energy platforms that manage electricity flow from renewable sources like wind farms and solar plants to consumers. These platforms keep the grid stable, even during peak demand or when supply fluctuates.
By combining cloud-based systems and smart grids, they enable real-time monitoring and automated adjustments, optimizing energy distribution. Their tools can predict power usage, balance the load, and reduce outages. Their innovations are essential for integrating renewable energy into the grid, helping to build a more sustainable, resilient power system for the future. Of course, to achieve these goals, they need skilled experts like you.
What will I be doing?
As an RTU Gateway Engineer, you are part of a multidisciplinary team working on the OMS project. You design and implement feedback loops to test SCADA functionality, ensuring accurate and reliable system responses. Additionally, you program virtual RTUs to simulate real-world conditions, enabling comprehensive testing of the SCADA system. You configure and maintain virtual RTUs, develop automated test procedures, and troubleshoot issues found during testing. By designing feedback loops, running functional SCADA tests, and analyzing system responses, you adjust configurations to enhance system performance. Your contributions ensure that the SCADA system processes field data accurately and executes control commands as expected.
And my skills?
Your expertise includes PLC programming based on international automation standards and configuring Siemens S8000 virtual RTUs in the Siemens SICAM 8 environment. You understand standardized telemetry protocols for remote communication, ensuring smooth data exchange between systems. Creating external interfacing test specifications, developing test procedures, and troubleshooting system issues are part of your skill set. With specialized knowledge gained through training, you're well-equipped to handle complex tasks in system integration and testing.
Do they pay well?
They believe hard work deserves great rewards. Along with a competitive salary between €3.500,- and €4.000,- per month, you'll enjoy plenty of extra perks. From day one, you'll have a permanent contract, providing job security and peace of mind. You'll get 26 vacation days, with the option to buy more if you need extra downtime. A non-contributory pension scheme will help secure your future. To make remote work easier, you'll receive allowances for home office expenses and high-speed internet. Ready to take the next step?
