Job description
Overview of the role: To assist Regional Food commercial manager in securing a commercial and operational IKEA Food strategy that meets quality, food safety, environmental requirements.
What you will do:
- Lead and develop a mechanism in place to ensure our guests are always in focus and strive to make them smile, meet, and serve our guests showing empathy and care.
- Always look at the Restaurants and Food areas through the eyes of our customers and walk the stores regularly.
- Empower and encourage IKEA Restaurant Managers and Co-workers to take immediate action to meet the needs of guests.
- Responsible of consolidating and updating the services/products offered in our stores.
Commercial:
- Responsible for integration of food into activity commercial calendar.
- Plan, conduct and follow-up commercial performance and review.
- Implement common food commercial framework and KPI's adapting to local legislation and laws.
- Lead food experience improvements and food innovation.
Steering the business:
- Work actively to make the IKEA Food department successful and high performing.
- Control overall operating costs without jeopardizing the service level to the customer.
- Utilise relevant reporting tools to develop the IKEA business.
- Monitor and challenge costs at a regional level.
Operations:
- Utilize relevant tools such as Profit & Loss, KPI-report, Operational Review.
- To ensure a safe working environment for co-workers and customers.
- Implement the IKEA FOOD concept to increase the sales of IKEA home furnishing products.
- Be an active player in driving an open and sharing climate.

What equips you for the role
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years food commercial marketing experience.
- Must have an interest and knowledge of culinary or food service industry.

- Must have the ability to work in a high-volume, fast paced, and constantly changing retail environment.
