Product lifecycle Engineer
who together with us will strengthen the IKEA product range, focusing onBathroom & Water.
As Product Lifecycle Engineer (PLE) you will be responsible to support the engineering team with administration, documentation and verification activities. You will help to secure that product information is up-to-date and according to IKEA documentation guidelines and standards.
As PLE you will:
Be responsible to perform moderate changes on product documentation including technical requirements, compliance marking, and packaging solutions.
Support our highly efficient engineering team, in running range operations
Support in verification and validation activities, for example assemble and test furniture
Secure that technical product information is up-to-date and according to IKEA documentation guidelines and standards
Be responsible to both find and act on gaps in product documentation
Take a big responsibility for the legal compliance marking of the products
Participate in projects for product updates
About You
To succeed in this role we see that you have an engineering background. You have a passion for technical administration, legal compliance and product documentation.
Your knowledge in 3D drawings and SolidWorks as well as IT tools for product information will be considered as an added advantage.
We see that you are a committed and self-driven person with a strong will to influence and make a difference. You work in a structured way with analytical skills and to take the lead in planning and executing of your own work as well as in your contacts with internal and external stakeholders. You can work with repetitive tasks and get energy from getting things done.
You have strong communication skills in English and the ability to create confidence and build relations. You are self-motivated and a goal- and delivery-oriented person with a passion for details.
