・Language skills: Proficiency in Japanese at a business level (N1 equivalent) and conversational English (TOEIC score of approximately 600-700).
・PC skills: Strong command of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel (e.g., functions), PowerPoint, with experience in Adobe software being a plus.
・Analytical skills: Ability to independently derive market insights and apply them to create business opportunities or drive commercial success.
・Public speaking: Confidence in facilitating seminars and similar events.
・Event organization: Experience in planning and managing events.
・Stakeholder management: Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
【Purpose of this Job?'
The role of Local marketing is:
To support increased awareness for IKEA as a brand.
To support the Market manager in positioning our brand in the local communities by sharing who we are and what we stand for as a company, always connecting our Happy to be home positioning.
To have a deep knowledge of people's life at home and the local marketconditions.
To increase re-visitation and visitation from households within the PMA in an omnichannel approach.
To drive all Family activities in the local market in tight collaboration with Selling and Customer teams. Always triggering new members to sign up, swipe their cards and engage with us again and again.
【Your Responsibilities?'
Family strategy - execute good ways of working with offers and benefits to increase members, swipe rates and long-term loyalty. All of below to be achieved by executing strategies laid out by LM manager or Marketing SO
• Increase new member acquisition by implementing national and local plans throughworking across multiple stakeholders in store and SO
• Good understanding of single customer view and using analysis from the same to help gain Family share of sales/ acquisition
• Increase new member acquisition by also expanding to new business potential areasaround your store
• Collaborate with manager in regular audit of in store Family communications and ensure all national plans are rolled out strongly. Also be prepared for agile business needs andcontribute flexibly with speed on Family growth plans all through the year
• Regularly contribute by having a POV in LM monthly meetings with SO. Based on learningfrom other stores implement good Family swipe/ acquisition practices in your store withfast turnaround (less than 4 weeks)
• Collaborate with manager and continuously do web analysis / store web page analysis andsee how to convert more Family members online and increase their swipe rate online
• Regularly deep dive on all Family metrics / KPIs for your store, compare it to national levelgoals and other store goals and continuously make plans to improve
• Collaborate with manager and highlight Family in some or most of PR exposures
• When required support in doing live events/ workshops/ Popups for Family members
• Always be ready to roll out rewards/ benefits for Family members by working acrossstakeholders and understanding national strategy
Take a stand - Community work
Corporate PR and Sustainability
Support market manager in the local market area to build our brand
Commercial PR - promote the store to media (TV, magazines etc.)
Local channels; set contents for local webpage and Facebook
【Working Hours?'
・8:00-22:00 (Shift Work)
Shift-based schedule aligned with store operating hours. The role includes working on weekends, public holidays, and during evening events.

About this work area
【Employment Status?'- Full-time regular employee- 40 hours per week contract
- Probation period: 6 months
- Start date is the first day of every month (consult with us about your start date)
