The Risk and Regulations (R&R) is new department within ICS. Our main goal is ensuring that ICS remains in control of its (potential) risks. We are responsible for various activities within 1st line Risk. As Sr. 1st line Risk Manager you report to Head of Risk and Regulation.
In your role as Sr. 1st line Risk Manager, you are responsible for
• Monitoring of developments in legislation and regulations and assess potential impact of changes on ICS.
• Making sure that all applicable regulatory changes (both internal e.g. ABN AMRO policies and external e.g. EBA) are understood, acknowledged, and addressed by responsible Risk (Type) Owners.
• Building further on the main 1st line risk capabilities within ICS.
• Operating as a linking pin between various domains with ICS and ABN AMRO.
• Working in a multi-disciplinary project-setting to support larger regulatory change processes.
• Ensuring that ICS risks are idented, assessed, measured, monitored, mitigated and reported.
• Safeguarding the Risk Taxonomy by developing, implementation, monitoring risk limits and risk standards.

• You hold at least a university master's degree in law, economics, risk management, or a related field;
• Over 5 years of relevant work experience
• Excellent verbal and written skills, both in Dutch and English
• Knowledge of business administration, internal policies and external legislation and regulations regarding (credit) risk, legal and compliance
• Risk Awareness and knowledge of the Three lines of Defence
• You have strong stakeholder management skills and are capable of translating complex subject matter to the context of the business
