As a Senior Regulatory Risk Management Consultant for IT, your expertise is crucial in our obligations towards the supervisors. From coordinating our engagements with the JST and our annual reporting, to supporting CITO with implementing new laws and regulations: you are key! Your efforts directly influence the security and innovation of financial services, where collaboration with a team of dedicated professionals is essential to our collective success.
You and your job
As a regulatory and supervisory expert, you're in the lead to coordinate CITO's obligations towards the supervisor and support the implementation of new laws (e.g. DORA, AI Act). This requires strong stakeholder management skills as you'll align with senior management within all lines of defence and with Rabobank's supervisors. You'll be challenged to turn their views into streamlined, actionable plans to ensure CITO is demonstrably in control of its Supervisory & Regulatory requirements. The focus is strongly on Supervisory strategy, and less on Regulatory implementation.

- Maintaining a focus on the progress and ensuring the timely delivery of change activities are fundamental responsibilities.
- Prepare senior management reporting on the state of regulatory and supervisory activities, and advise MT CITO, Managing Board, Supervisory Board and the Joint Supervisory Team
You and your talent
- 5+ years of relevant work experience. Practical experience in coordinating the implementation process
- Strong consultancy skills (5+ years)
- Risk reporting at the strategic level
- Regulatory & Supervisory Expertise: Demonstratable strong regulatory adherence and ECB/JST engagement skills, with a proven track record of coordinating regulatory and supervisory requirements within technology-driven environments.
- Good understanding of IT relevant regulations such as DORA, BCBS239, AI Act, Data Act, etc. Is preferred
- Experience in international, financial institutions, particularly within their IT departments
- Collaborative Leadership: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and teams
