We are looking for a passionate and inspiring IT Chapter Lead for the IT Integrators within International Payments with extensive experience in the customer initiated payments and interbank clearing and settlement.
The Team
Your Chapter consists of fellow integrators working in with several squads within the IT Area. Together with your Chapter, you guarantee the required knowledge within the IT Area. You do this by jointly investing in knowledge of the Java and DevOps fields, for example by:
- Organize knowledge and demo sessions
- Attend relevant and/or interesting conferences in your field together with the Chapter
- Working together with your Chapter on relevant issues within the bank (with the aim of knowledge development)
- There is room for innovation. Quality comes first and the customer is central to all activities.
The DevOps squads within ING Bank use the Scrum methodology and a far-reaching Agile Way-of-Work. This puts ING Bank at the forefront of the working method used for designing, building, and testing applications, as well as the process of commissioning, managing and ultimately decommissioning applications. A successful experienced IT Integrator, who is also the Chapter, Lead for the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts.

- Actively aligns with the IT Lead, IT Area Leads and business on the delivery and priority of the work.
- Uses his/her skills to attract and retain the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts and create the best engineering and delivery culture in an Agile way of working environment.
- Values engineering craftsmanship and develops craftsmanship of the employees working in their respective area. Provides high-level strategic guidance to the IT Integrators and IT Business Analysts.
- Leads significant transformative initiatives with broad-reaching international effects.
- Promotes creativity and originality, such as by catalysing internal conferences.
- Ensures adherence to IT risk, security, and compliance commitments.
- Plays a constructive role in enhancing the broader IT organization.
- As a Chapter Lead, you are responsible for the knowledge development of your employees within the ING Way-of-Work.

Engineering skills
- At least Bachelor/Master level of education
- Knowledge of, and experience with Agile/Scrum
- Experience in drawing up complex business requirements from stakeholders and converting them into IT solutions

- You have an excellent command of both the Dutch and English language, both verbally and in writing
