To support this growth, we are looking for a Delivery Partner Sourcing Manager who will be instrumental in ensuring our operations comply with Dutch transport regulations while optimizing efficiency and service quality.
Tasks
Strategic Sourcing and Negotiation:
- Lead the sourcing and selection of last-mile delivery service providers (DSPs), ensuring partners meet operational standards and align with business objectives.
- Utilize strong negotiation skills to secure competitive rates and service agreements that balance cost-efficiency with high-quality delivery performance.
- Establish and manage robust contracts with DSPs, clearly defining expectations, KPIs, and service-level commitments.
Franchise Coordination and Growth:
- Oversee the onboarding and integration of new DSPs into the regional delivery network, ensuring smooth transitions and operational readiness.
- Implement and enforce franchise policies that promote the growth and scalability of the last-mile delivery ecosystem.
Market Analysis and Policy Development:
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities in last-mile delivery.
- Develop and execute regional policies, including delivery fee structures and transportation subsidies, informed by operational insights and market data
Requirements
- Over 2 years of logistics operation experience, with experience in terminal delivery and transportation management.
- Experience working within last mile delivery company is preferred.
- Proven experience in sourcing and managing delivery partners. You should have an established network of local last-mile delivery service providers at a national level.
- Highly price-sensitive with a demonstrated ability to negotiate prices successfully in the past.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Given the need for familiarity with the Dutch market and local resources, candidates must reside in the Netherlands or have prior logistics work experience in the Netherlands. Applicants not meeting this criterion will not be considered.
