About the role:
As an Agribusiness Analyst you will collaborate with an Agribusiness Manager to complete credit submissions that support our clients various farming businesses, enabling long term client relationships and sustainable business growth.
Day-to-day, you'll complete financial analysis and prepare loan applications and reviews, as well as prepare accurate reports for formal approval, which clearly and concisely outline the proposed transaction, rationale and source of funds. We expect you will take ownership of the credit application process, ensuring it is completed to a high standard.
About you:
We're seeking candidates with experience gained in a similar role, or with a passion for agribusiness. You'll demonstrate the following (or have the capacity to upskill quickly):
- Strong credit and financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret financial accounts.
- Good knowledge of lending services with experience in the banking sector being advantageous, including managing facility reviews and maturities, account excesses, ongoing covenant and compliance monitoring.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily build relationships with key internal and external clients.
- A strong team focus.
- A tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics or Agriculture (preferred but not essential).
