The Communication function in Range has the assignment to lead, develop and enable impactful communication that strengthens the IKEA brand by creating engagement, building trust for IKEA and enabling better business.
We are looking for a Communication Partner with focus on content and project lead
Please note that this is a temporary assignment for one year
In this assignment you will be instrumental in helping IKEA tell all our amazing stories about who we are and how we do things, with a special focus on our products, the people behind and our efforts and movements in sustainability.
You will hold together and lead stakeholders and content contributors in Range Areas, Category Areas/Purchasing Development but also Legal, Risk & Compliance, Sustainability. You will lead topic based working groups and handle several stakeholder perspectives. Identify, gather and coordinate content (proof points) and spokespeople, define and develop angles and main messages, briefing creation and production - and taking it all the way to securing feedback loops and sign off in relevant constellations and in the right sequence. You will help us push the boundaries of how we can share our sustainability journey while staying compliant.
You will work in a close partnership with a content leader in IKEA Marketing & Communication for the creation of the stories and communication assets.
As part of the assignment you will also define and develop ways of working and the future process for the content part of our story creation.
You will be a part of the central communication team at Range where we hold together the total communication agenda and support and enable the business in all dimensions (strategic, tactical, operational). The central communication team is led as one common team with two managers. This role reports to the Communication Team manager.
This role requires seniority and we are looking for a Communication Partner that
- has super skills in stakeholder management as well as in leading communication projects
- has a strong sense for story telling and creating strong messages, and a passion for IKEA products and how we work with democratic design and the integrated IKEA value chain
- as the ability to build trustful relationships and navigate, lead yourself and others, and make things happen in a complex environment
- takes initiative, lean in, dare to test and try, ability to listen AND challenge
- is curious, hands on and solution-oriented, with ability to work independently
- has a large capacity and ability to lead several topics in parallel, with structure and a clear delivery focus
- has proven communication competence and cross-functional understanding of the IKEA network and value chain, and a deep connection to what is typically IKEA in visual identity, tone of voice and culture and values.
