Your jobThe Granular Reporting Team (GRT) is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of multiple internal Risk MI reports and regulatory (granular) reports. The key focus of the team currently is the creation of the Valuation Data Set (VDS) that the European Union's Single Resolution Board (SRB) will utilize in situations where ABN AMRO Bank is under stress.
The Granular Reporting Team is building a solution (in SAS and Power BI) to deliver these important reports.
As a Business Developer in the Granular Reporting Team your primary responsibilities will be:
- Analyse the reporting requirements and make the translation to the bank's internal data models and write the instructions for the software developers in the team.
- Data Analysis, testing, organise and support user acceptance testing (including coordination in the chain).
- Implement the Control Framework (e.g. Reconciliation with other external reports).
The Reporting Grid is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), our responsibility is to implement and maintain reporting for our internal and external (regulatory) stakeholders.
You work in a setting with professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring our reports to a structurally higher level.
The Granular Reporting Team is a multidisciplinary and international team that combines business developers and IT Engineers to achieve its objectives and operates in an agile (scrum) setting). The team is part of a cluster of multiple teams that work on granular reporting topics.
The current focus is delivery value in the current landscape, but in parallel the focus coming years will be on the onboarding of the new Finance and Risk landscape as part of the COMPASS program (the tooling will be amongst others MS Databricks).
Your profile- Minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience, with a substantial portion within a banking environment.
- Experience with Regulatory Reporting, experience in Granular Reporting is a plus.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Finance and Risk and the banking products (Markets, Credits, Accounting, Reporting), experience within ABN AMRO is an advantage.
- Experience with data models, data analysis and testing.
- Expertise in requirement setting and refinement (including documentation).
- Strong techno-functional skills.
- Experience with SAS software is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Self-starter with a proactive "get things done" mentality.
- Ability to deliver under pressure.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget.
- The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
