To help us create these top-notch solutions we are seeking a skilled and passionate Full Stack Developer to join our team of talents.
Your role
As Full Stack Developer you are part of our tight-knit Development team. You design, develop and implement unique software applications for our global customers. You understand user experience and use your creative programming skills to design, build and improve websites that are easy to understand, navigate and use, and adhere to design standards and specifications. You’re involved in high-end projects from mockups and creating UI designs and prototypes to visualize the product, to defining and executing tests and acceptance plans, and final client delivery. While doing this you understand that quality always comes first. You do code reviews and optimize performance to ensure our software meets the highest quality standards. You will also become an important pivot in our data landscape by shaping and developing the data processing and analyzing environments for our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product owners, other Developers and System and Network Engineers to seamlessly integrate various technologies and to deliver integrated and cohesive solutions that are reliable and future-proof.
Your regular tasks
- Design, maintain and develop clean, efficient, high-quality and scalable code;
- Developing validation and unit-testing methods and fixing bugs;
- Analyzing data for developing software features to meet product requirements;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and deploy high-performance applications;
- Contribute to technical documentation and code reviews to uphold software quality standards.
Your qualifications
- Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Computers Science, Information Technology or related field;
- 4+ years of work experience in enterprise-level software developer roles;
- Expertise in Python for development and scripting tasks:
- Solid experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL, including database design and optimization;
- Proficiency in front-end development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript;
- Proven experience in implementing and utilizing RESTful APIs;
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD processes and version control systems (e.g. Git);
- Able to work independently on tasks while contributing to a team environment;
- Self-propelling and quick learner with the ability to think outside of the box;
- Strong sense of responsibility for results, with attention to detail and quality;
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities or challenges;
- Good verbal and written communication and documentation skills in both Dutch and English.
Nice to have/Beneficial
- Proficiency with Ruby on Rails or similar frameworks;
- Experience with Elasticsearch for search and data indexing;
- Knowledge of Kafka and Spark for building scalable data processing pipelines;
- Working knowledge of Confluence and Jira;
- Experience in DevOps practices, including managing virtual machines, maintaining and automating Linux environments, and troubleshooting basis network issues;
- Experience in designing and managing ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data workflows;
