THE ROLE
The interim Administrative Assistant in the Project Management Office at Damen Naval plays a supportive role for the Document Controlling and Configuration Management teams. These teams manage all technical documents related to the construction of state-of-the-art naval ships. As an Administrative Assistant, you will enter data into various systems and make necessary adjustments in Word documents. Additionally, you will make documents available to (external) stakeholders via our Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems. You will also perform other administrative tasks to support Document Controlling.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:
2+ years of relevant experience in an administrative support role.
Proficiency with Excel (Pivot tables/reporting) and Word (Track Changes).
Experience with Product Data Management (PDM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is a plus.
Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Ability to read technical (CAD) documents is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately.
Completed Intermediate Vocational Education (MBO 4) education.
Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required. Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.
WHAT WE OFFER

This temporary assignment is exclusively offered on a secondment (detachering) or temporary employment contract basis. Freelance or ZZP agreements are not considered due to current Dutch legislation.
