As a Global Strategy Manager Sanctions W&R you will support the Head Sanctions W&R with the implementation of the FEC Global Sanctions strategy and ensuring that Sanctions risks within Rabobank's regions are effectively managed.
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the Head of Sanctions W&R in implementing the new FEC Sanctions strategy globally. This position requires exceptional stakeholder management skills, decisiveness, and the ability to represent the Head of Sanctions W&R effectively.

Facilitating the strategic steering cycle of Sanctions W&R, such as formulating objectives, initiatives, KPI's, reporting and monitoring progress throughout the department.
The Global Strategy Manager Sanctions W&R provides solicited and unsolicited advice to the Head of Sanctions W&R and the Management Team with the aim of becoming a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary support to the Head of Sanctions W&R, assisting with all deliverables.
- Assist in the global implementation of the new FEC Sanctions strategy within Sanctions W&R
- Manage and engage with senior stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Organize and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Periodic delivery of ad hoc management information and the provision of strategic advice for justifying and influencing the business strategy.
Aligning colleagues from around the world, considering geopolitical dynamics, and strategizing on how to safeguard the bank.

You and your talent
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience in sanctions, compliance, or a related field would be preferred.
- Previous experience in a global role or working with international teams.
- Proven experience in managing complex senior stakeholder relationships with high organizational sensitivity and integrity.
- Strong ability to work at a senior level, effectively communicating and reporting to senior management.
- A good understanding of Wholesale & Rural (W&R) operations or Sanctions would be preferred.
- Fluent in both written and spoken English.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- A self-starter who takes initiative, works independently, and drives projects forward.
- Strong social skills, with the ability to connect easily with others and communicate clearly and concisely.
- Above all, you bring a positive presence, are an eager and fast learner, and thrive as a team player.
