A day in your life with us
You will be responsible for the daily operations and production in IKEA's restaurant. Here, you will have a big opportunity to use your leadership skills and take responsibility for the financial aspects of running a healthy business.You will work with:
• Visible leadership, where you lead with a proactive and service-oriented approach to daily operations.
• Ensuring that all policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to, including self-monitoring and hygiene, which meet IKEA's high standards.
• Ensuring the development of your employees' competencies.
• Conducting care, development, salary, and performance reviews.
• Hiring new employees.
• Handling operational challenges, clearing, optimizing work processes, daily follow-up with employees, and various administrative tasks.
• Keeping the customer in focus and taking initiative to optimize sales and inspire our customers.
• Ensuring that your area of responsibility is commercial, clean, tidy, attractive, and inviting. You also ensure that our products are always in perfect condition and correctly priced.
• Creating passion around the food we serve and sell, actively learning about it, and sharing your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
• Contributing to and supporting the implementation of the store's business plan and IKEA Food action plan.
• Promoting a 'safety first' culture and coaching others to ensure that routines and requirements are known and followed in daily work.
• Ensuring correct inventory and participating in monthly status reports.
• Following up on equipment and procurement.
Together as a team
We offer an exciting and varied job as a Kitchen Production Team Leader in a growth-oriented company, where you are close to the decision-making process and can influence your own development as well as your employees. You will be responsible for 10-15 employees and will be part of a leadership team in IKEA FOOD consisting of a total of 6 leaders, including yourself.You will be part of IKEA Taastrup, where there is an opportunity to collaborate across our various departments with many different people - all with their own backgrounds and needs. IKEA is a renowned furniture retailer, and many of our customers also come to IKEA for a food experience. We aim to create a break for customers when they need to make a major purchasing decision and to recharge their energy levels for the rest of their shopping journey. It is our task to ensure a fantastic food experience for our customers. An experience that is safe, healthy, sustainable, delicious, convenient, human, and joyful.

Further informations
• The position is 37 hours per week on an individual contract, where overtime is included in the salary.• Salary based on qualifications and within IKEA's salary policy.
• Working hours are between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. You should expect 1-2 closing shifts per week and weekend work every third weekend. You are expected to assist with inventory on the last day of each month until 11:00 PM
• You will be part of a shift schedule with both staffing and responsibility hours, and you will also plan your own working hours according to the business needs.
