As a Senior Business Consultant, your primary focus is on advising and challenging our IT leadership. You are (jointly) responsible for the development and implementation of IT-related change initiatives. The Platforms and Technology (P&T) department ensures the availability of the IT systems on which customers and employees rely. Additionally, P&T supports the entire bank by designing new IT solutions, making business information available across the company, facilitating the latest technology and tools, and ensuring that the service quality of all systems and infrastructure meets the high standards of the bank.
Your job- You get energized on working project-based and simultaneously manage multiple projects within the IT domain;
- You bring structure, delegate tasks, and are capable of maintaining an overview and reporting on the progress of a project;
- You enjoy analyzing problems and transforming them into a clear storyline that you can present to stakeholders;
- You organize and facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions;
- You are capable of analyzing management information and translating it into concrete action plans;
- You are not afraid to ask critical questions and understand that your advice impacts the (internal) client;
- You proactively seek opportunities for improvement;
- You gain energy from working in a young team and serve as a role model for less experienced colleagues. You coach them and support with reviewing work.
Platforms & Technology is ABN AMRO's Internal (IT) Service Provider, delivering state-of-the-art IT with optimal technology, user-friendly services, and end-to-end control and oversight. To become a personal bank in a digital age, all departments of Platforms & Technology contribute to laying a future-proof foundation for the IT landscape.
P&T is a service-oriented organization that provides IT to ABN AMRO employees and networks with reliable, controlled, business-focused, easily adaptable, and future-proof IT platforms and technologies. These can be accessed via a self-service mechanism and offer a shorter time to market for (new) functionalities.
As a Business Consultant, you work for the P&T Office, within the Support team. This is a young and dynamic team that challenges the organization to change and move forward. Opportunities abound for those who see and dare to seize them! You'll be thrown in at the deep end, but there's always a safe place to fall back on.
Your profile- Minimum of a Master's degree from a university (WO);
- At least 5 years of proven work experience with (consultancy) projects;
- You have strong analytical skills and can quickly get to the core of a problem;
- You can translate complex problems into understandable language and engage your stakeholders in the process;
- You are change-oriented and energized by complex challenges;
- You excel in stakeholder management and easily connect stakeholders;
- You are pragmatic, solution-oriented, and proactive;
- You have excellent English skills, yet the working language is Dutch;
- You have excellent PowerPoint skills and can build a good storyline.

- Het bovenaan de pagina weergegeven bruto maandsalaris is op basis van een 36-urige werkweek, inclusief vakantiegeld en benefit budget.
