Applications Engineer

At our location in Best, we have a full-time vacancy for Applications Engineer for nanofabrication and characterization systems as soon as possible.

• Contribute as a technical expert that advices customers in the most suitable Raith product solution for them and demonstrates how they add value to their applications. • Generate results that positively verify Raith nanofabrication systems performance on a variety of applications. • Actively manage and execute application projects for customer samples and live demonstrations in close collaboration with Sales. • Become an advanced user and organize the functionality of demo tool in cooperation with Engineering and Service department. • Occasional business trips to other European company sites.

• PhD or Master's degree with preferably 3 years relevant work experience in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related field. • A passion for nanoscale instrumentation and fabrication processes.
• Exceptional team working and communication skills. • Hands-on experience with nanofabrication instruments and processes. • Self-motivated, results-driven attitude and outstanding problem-solving skills. • Preferred: Experience scripting for scientific data processing using JMP, MATLAB, Python, etc. • Fluent in English, good Dutch language skills.
