As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in automating, optimizing, and maintaining mission-critical systems and applications. This role combines elements of automation, application support, and IT operations to ensure seamless integration and high availability of key applications and services.
- Develop and optimize automation scripts using PowerShell, focusing on tasks such as patching processes and system configuration.
- Implement Azure DevOps pipelines to enhance CI/CD processes.
- Utilize Azure DevOps for managing backlogs, work items, and sprints.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation using Azure Wiki.
- Manage and resolve tickets raised in ITSM tools such as TopDesk (experience with other ITSM tools is acceptable).
- Monitor application health and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively.
- Perform monthly patching activities for Windows Virtual Machines (VMs).
- Ensure timely updates and security compliance across environments.
- Manage and support applications hosted in Internet Information Services (IIS).
- Oversee permissions and configurations for shared drives supporting key applications.
