As a Commissioning Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful commissioning of complex systems and installations on large custom-built yachts. You will be part of a dedicated project team, working under the guidance of the Commissioning Manager, with key responsibilities including:
- Planning and executing commissioning activities in close cooperation with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all systems and installations on board the yacht are tested and commissioned safely and efficiently.
- Starting up and making systems ready for use, including executing sea trials.
- Documenting all relevant commissioning and sea trial data.
- Collaborating with the Owner's Representative team to ensure smooth commissioning execution.
- Working closely with third parties, including regulatory authorities, suppliers, and manufacturers, to fine-tune commissioning processes.
- Applying a results-oriented, problem-solving approach to meet project goals within deadlines.
