Tasks
As a Systems Architect you lead the architecture, design, development, and integration of high-performance systems within the project: ensuring the seamless operation and scalability of the systems used in the telescope’s data processing and signal detection functionalities.
Among the most important tasks, the role includes:
- Overseeing the integration of hardware and software components to ensure seamless system performance.
- Ensuring quality support testing and validation processes so that systems meet the requirements of the project.
- Monitoring and optimizing system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Providing technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers within the project team, and broader team.
Requirements
It would be great if you have:
- BSc or MSc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or a related field;
- 10+ years of experience of which minimum 5 years as a system architect;
- Knowledge of signal processing, real-time systems, and radio frequency (RF) technologies is highly desirable;
- Familiarity with Agile project management, SAFe highly valued.
