Logistics employee forklift

You will be working at a specialist in animal nutrition. The company is heavily automated, the machines are modern. The working atmosphere is open and not formal, colleagues work as a team. The temperature in the workplace can vary from cold to warm, and the Ittervoort location employs about 70 employees.

The company is easily accessible from cities such as Roermond, Weert, Venlo, Peel en Maas, Stein and Sittard-Geleen.

Do you have knowledge of the logistics process? And are you looking for a job in early day shift? Then we are looking for you as all-round logistics employee and forklift driver in one. You have an all-round function where each day is decided who will be deployed where. You are an important pivot in the logistical process. Your tasks may consist of the following activities:It is a varied job where no day is the same, you will be trained all-round so that you are employable in all areas. Once every few weeks on Saturday and/or Sunday morning cans are unloaded. These activities will be rotated, when you have to work these days you will have the week off at another time. The working hours in this position are from 07:00 am to 15:30 or 07:30 to 16:00 depending on your availability. If you work on Saturday or Sunday mornings, you will start at 8:00 am until no later than 12:00 pm. 

• Loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments;
• Picking and preparing orders to be shipped;
• Preprocessing and preparing raw materials and products needed for production;
• Checking stock.

• You have experience in logistics, preferably you are familiar with forklift operations;
• You are physically fit.Do you have a valid forklift certificate?

• A salary between €14,- and €16,- gross per hour, excluding shift bonus;
• End of year bonus of 6% on top of your hourly wage;
• Travel allowance of €0,19 per kilometer (from 10 kilometers);
• Pension accrual from day one;
• Start with a contract through Olympia, with the intention of being taken over by the client with a view to permanent employment if suitable.
