The Reservations Supervisor plays a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of the reservations department, delivering an exceptional guest booking experience while supporting the hotel's revenue goals. This role involves leading the reservations team, supporting the Front Office Team, optimizing room inventory, and maximizing revenue opportunities. The position reports directly to the Revenue Manager.

Objective of the Role:
Reporting to the Revenue Manager, the Reservations Supervisor will be one of the first points of contact for our guests. It is of utmost importance that the reservations department present a friendly and professional manner at all times. As a Reservations Supervisor, you will act as the main point of contact for guests' bookings for bedrooms, dealing with queries, assisting the Front Office Team with training/implanting new procedures and cross-selling our F&B outlets.
Key Duties and Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure that all reservations queries are dealt with in a professional manner and are answered within the required time frame
- Ensure that there is an efficient follow-up system in operation to include all allocations and that groups are input and released in accordance with the terms of their contract
- Actively encourage the development of relationships with new and existing clients, working in conjunction with the Revenue and the Sales and Marketing manager
- Ensure the reservations function is covered at all peak times
- Arrange and co-ordinate any special request through outside companies
- Ensure all appropriate sales opportunities are identified and brought to the attention of the Sales and Marketing Manager
- Work closely with the sales and events team to ensure we are yielding group
Requirements Include:
- An exuberant personality
- 1-2 years' experience in a similar role with a Reservations System. Knowledge of Opera would be an advantage
- Excellent customer care skills
- Excellent command of the English language both written and oral is essential
- Ability to cope well under pressure
- Highly motivated
- Full time
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Working hours must be flexible
- International travel required
