How about my role??
In this role, you'll be the key person who understands what clients need from their data. Together with the product owner, you'll map out these requirements quickly and clearly. During project implementation and onboarding. You'll work with data from multiple sources, sometimes dozens, for hundreds of users. This data is used in important areas like machine learning, forecasting, and decision-making.
After completing a project, you'll often handle larger follow-up tasks. Communication is important, because you'll work with the project manager to solve any problems quickly. You'll also create custom data solutions, making sure the platform fits the client's needs perfectly. Along the way, you'll spot new business opportunities and help prepare proposals. Instead of just managing data, you'll help clients turn it into something valuable for their business. This role also includes preparing offers for new clients, assessing if the platform suits them, and pointing out any potential limitations.
And the skills?
You've got a university degree with a focus on business or IT, which really sets you up to do well in data-driven environments. With two to five years of experience, you actively define and validate requirements. You're great at understanding how data moves, how systems are built, and how to manage data conversions and ETL processes. You're comfortable working with relational databases, real-time interfaces, and even have some basic programming skills.
Additionally, you're also a clear communicator, whether in Dutch or English, and you have a knack for breaking down complex ideas so clients and colleagues get it. You're proactive, always looking for solutions, and you make sure developers and clients are on the same page. Plus, you've got the drive and enthusiasm to take on new challenges and always keep learning.
