We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT OPS Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation and maintenance of our applications that we use to manage our data centres. The work includes managing, troubleshoot and monitor virtual machines, operating systems, web services, databases, and the deployment of new software. Also think about keeping risk controls in order, such as solving vulnerabilities and implementing security patches.
The team
As an IT OPS Engineer you belong to a multidisciplinary and cross-functional team. This team is end-to-end responsible for the quality and resilience of the Global Data Center Services. Together with your fellow engineers in your team, you are responsible for designing, maintaining and operating the applications of the ING Global Data Centres.

- Windows server knowledge
- SQL knowledge
- Demonstrated affinity and passion for IT
- Work experience in a complex IT environment
- Experience in configuring and maintaining application monitoring and alerting
- Affinity or experience with IT Risk
- Know with ITIL processes such as Incident- and Change Management.
It is an advantage if you have skills in:
- Knowledge of (DCIM / Data Centre Infrastructure Management) applications.
