Your jobAs a Senior Business Consultant in the VPT you are the first point of contact for large change initiatives that impact the Finance & Risk data Domain. You approach these changes from Data, Organisation and Process perspective. You draft the data- or business architecture and design for an integrated Finance & Risk data environment where these regulatory changes and internal initiatives are incorporated. You are responsible for the strategic themes and the translation of these into concrete projects and deliverables for the departments in the domain. You seek alignment with other stakeholders in Risk Management, Finance, the Business Lines, Enterprise Architects and IT. In addition, you have an advisory role towards various Finance and Risk Management stakeholders on different (MT) levels.
Examples of the deliverables of a Senior Business Consultant include:
• Vision documents and guidelines
• Clear problem statements related to regulatory and internal change initiatives
• Business analysis focused on data related processes, data needs and data capabilities, together with other representatives in the Domain.
• Roadmaps and migration strategies
The Finance & Risk Data Domain is part of Finance & Risk Business Grids (F&RBG), and plays an active role for all the Finance and Risk departments. We employ 250+ international professionals with different backgrounds who are driven to bring data management within Finance & Risk to a structurally higher level. Our aim is to generate reliable finance & risk data on time. We do this by improving the data itself, data systems and data processes. We work with an Agile operating model. Our Finance and Risk Data Domain consists of 5 departments where the atmosphere is dynamic, open and informal.
The Value Proposition Team (VPT) maintains the vision and the IT, Data and Business architecture of the the F&R Data Domain. The VPT supports the implementation of the vision of the domain. The VPT is an important spider in the web when it comes to driving the overall portfolio of the domain, also in relation to the change portfolios of other departments that the Finance and Risk Data Domain interacts with.
We are looking for an Experienced Business Consultant who has earned her/his spurs in the areas of Finance, Risk management, Change Management, Data management, Organisational design and/or Portfolio Management within a banking or financial organization or within consultancy in these areas. You are focused on collaboration, innovation and achieving goals and are an excellent communicator. You are data driven and innovative and you embrace the agile way of working.

• You have successfully completed a higher professional education (HBO) or degree (WO) and at least 10 years of relevant work experience in the field of Data, Change Management, Finance and/or Risk Management.
• You have knowledge of Data Management, Change Management or Organisational Development Best Practices
• You have affinity with banking and Finance & Risk management
• You are a strong communicator with excellent stakeholder management;
• You have advisory and implementation skills
• You have good skills in PowerPoint
