Job descriptionYou will be part of a team that always has the full focus on having the IKEA range of products sellable and compliant for our customers in Thailand. You achieve this by using your knowledge of the Thai regulations and good cooperation with the stores and IKEA of Sweden. Your support to the business is based on performing and delivering while learning and developing at the same time. You use the IKEA tools and expertise of your team and your colleagues to support you. In your work and actions, you always consider sellable products as your top priority.
- Be part of the Public Affairs and Product Requirements & Compliance function in Thailand.
- Make the full IKEA range compliant and sellable in Thailand.
- Be a point of contact with Thai authorities.
- Support sales function and report new market regulations to IKEA of Sweden.
- Secure that Thai product standards and labelling requirements are fulfilled.
- Work closely with country fulfilment function.
- Strong communicator with excellent spoken and written English and Thai skills.
- University degree with a hands-on can-do attitude.
- 3 years documented work experience with international company or Thai authority.
- Agile and organized, you can think, plan, and execute your tasks.
- A down-to-earth person who can connect to our IKEA Values and culture.
- Experience from retail, TISI or international product testing laboratory considered and advantage.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PPT, etc.).
