- A good general HR knowledge is a plus. More specifically, you demonstrate an interest and knowledge of the Belgian Labor Law, policies and compliances in relation to Health & Wellbeing, Equality and Diversity & Inclusion.
- You also act as an ambassador for the IKEA culture and values and you enjoy working in a vibrant and changing multi-dimensional environment.
For this role we believe you have proven experience in HR Management or equivalent.
- As a guidance 5 years of Human Resources experience (ideally working with Diversity and Inclusion, Health & Wellbeing, strategies and implementation equivalent)
- Proven experience with handling multiple stakeholders, you are able to engage and influence key contributors in the organization. Collaboration comes natural to you.
- It is an added value if you have experience working with a Global Center of Expertise
- You are experienced in creating and implementing long-term plans, and following up on goals. Delivering results gives you energy.
- Your impactful and engaging communication reaches and activates stakeholders at all levels of the organization, from co-workers to country management.
- You have project-skills in your backpack and you have an analytical mind.
- You are self-driven and autonomous.
Your responsibilities
In the role as Equality, Diversity & Inclusion / Health-& Wellbeing Leader, you secure the roll out of the Diversity & Inclusion plan within IKEA Belgium to become an organization where everyone feels welcomed, respected, supported and valued. Be a strong contributor to the global Diversity & Inclusion agenda, partner with the people responsible for Diversity and Inclusion in each unit and cross functionally, support the Diversity and Inclusion network.You provide expertise in and secure implementation of a great Health & Wellbeing strategy for the many co-workers within IKEA, in line with the Group Health & Wellbeing framework and Belgian Labor Law. You contribute to the global Health & Wellbeing agenda, partner with people responsible for Health & Wellbeing as well at national level as in the units and being the contact of the social partners on the topic.
You will:
On E, D & I
- Launch a 3-year plan
- From this plan launch a first set of actions in FY24
- Take stock of what has been delivered so far both on country and unit level
- Secure access to updated knowledge about market trends, latest developments and best practices in Equality, Inclusion & Diversity, as well for the country but that can also contribute to the global organization.
On Health & Wellbeing
- Secure the roll-out of the national H&W plan
- Take stock of what has been delivered so far both on country and unit level on the three H&W axes: physical, mental and financial
- Take initiative to and organize activities to improve co-worker Health & Wellbeing (all 3 angles) in the workplace. Support with the unit psycho-social risk assessments and the outcome of these.• Be an active contributor to further develop sustainable employment and lowering absenteeism and securing the LT-absence approach is implemented
- Act as key speaking partner for co-workers on Health & Wellbeing issues by providing information and support on solutions.
- Collaborate and support the strategic decisions and the implementation of different health and wellbeing practices, that are valid for the country and that can contribute to the global organization.
In general,
- Collaborate with external partners and organizations focused on the topics of Health & Wellbeing and Equality, Diversity & Inclusion
- Serve as a role model and an ambassador of IKEA regarding the above mentioned topics and to have impact on co-workers, but also customers and society.
In this role you will report to the Co-worker Experience Manager.
