What You'll Bring as a Team Leader
As Team Leader, you'll elevate your team to meet and exceed customer expectations. Through one-on-one coaching and performance analysis, you'll lead daily planning, ensuring seamless operations. This role allows you to optimize processes, identify bottlenecks, and provide clear work instructions, all while supporting the development of your team. With our Operation management implementation in full swing, you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact with your skills. Your talents as a team leader:- At least 2 years of experience within Logistics.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Clear communication skills in English, Dutch is a plus.
- Confidence, resilience, and the ability to lead under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Warehouse Management Systems for reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you'll manage a small team of operators, but you will be responsible for a complicated and intriguing process. The whole operation from A-Z with stock control, inbound, outbound and picking and packing will be your responsibility. You'll help them work more efficiently by:Organizing and Coaching:
Inspire and guide your team members to fulfill their ambitions, conduct performance reviews, and support absentee and reintegration conversations.Team Planning:
Ensure optimal staffing, schedule training, and maintain accurate timesheets and personnel records.Improvement:
If you see new opportunities within the process, you can discuss this with the shift manager and business process manager. Continuous improvement must be in your focus.Safety:
Ensuring safety standards on the floor.
